Are you a creative Graphic Designer with a passion for fashion and e‑commerce? Matilda Sydney is a fast-growing online fashion store catering exclusively to the Australian market. We’re looking for a designer who can shape and strengthen our brand’s visual identity – from website banners to high-impact social ads that convert.

About Matilda Sydney

We’re a Netherlands-based e-commerce company focused on the Australian fashion market. Our suppliers in China handle fulfilment and shipping, allowing us to scale quickly and respond to new trends fast. Speed, style, and brand consistency are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

- Design visually engaging and on-brand website assets: hero banners, collection headers, USP badges, product stickers, and promo visuals.

- Create marketing materials for Meta, TikTok, Google, email (Klaviyo/Mailchimp), and on-site campaigns.

- Edit and optimise product images (cropping, retouching, colour correction) and create lookbook/collection visuals.

- Develop social-first video or animation snippets (GIF/MP4) for Reels, TikTok, and ads (a plus).

- Translate campaign concepts into consistent visuals across all channels and touchpoints.

- Maintain brand guidelines and collaborate on A/B testing creative performance.

- Anticipate Australian seasons, holidays (e.g. Boxing Day, EOFY), and current fashion trends.

What You Bring

- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer in e-commerce/fashion (portfolio required).

- Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) and ideally Figma or Canva Pro.

- Strong eye for aesthetics, typography, colour, and design that drives conversion.

- Understanding of paid media specs (Meta/TikTok/Google) and email design best practices.

- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a data-driven, fast-paced environment.

- Fluent in English and comfortable with at least 2–3 hours overlap with AEST working hours.

Nice to Have

- Basic knowledge of motion/After Effects, Lightroom, or video editing.

- Experience with Shopify theme assets and/or Klaviyo email templates.

- Familiarity with Australian fashion and social culture.

What We Offer

- Be part of a rapidly growing fashion brand with plenty of creative ownership.

- Flexible hours and remote-first collaboration.

- Freedom to experiment (A/B testing) and have a direct impact on results.

- Competitive pay (contract, freelance, or hybrid – negotiable).

- Access to the right tools and a motivated, creative team.
